Former Villarreal coach Marcelino Garcia Toral wants to resume his managerial career in the Premier League, reports AS.
Marcelino, who was sacked by the La Liga club in August, has received several offers from England over the past few years.
Since leaving Villarreal he has enrolled on an English course and he wants to work in the Premier League in the near future.
Since the beginning of La Liga this season after sacking Marcelino, Villarreal has harvested 19 points in nine matches under command of coach Fran Escriba, giving the team a better start compared to the previous three seasons under former coach Marcelino Garcia Toral.
Marcelino led Villarreal to 17 points in the first nine rounds in two seasons and to 14 points in the third one.
The Yellow Submarines is currently enjoying its best La Liga start in its history, after 2008-09 when the team gathered 21 points under Manuel Pellegrini, and 2010-11 when the team hit the 20-point-mark under Juan Carlos Garrido.
